My name is Lonneke Kroes and I am the owner and sole employee. I can help you with consultancy, training and interim management on inventory planning and replenishment models.

I worked for British American Tobacco for 10+ years, first as Production Planning Manager at the production site in The Netherlands and later as Inventory Planning Manager at the European regional supply chain hub in The United Kingdom. I developed an inventory policy calculation tool that I implemented in all of Western Europe. In 2010 I had to leave BAT as my family was relocating to Switzerland.

In Switzerland I was soon contacted by the Lausanne office -that I knew as a customer of BAT UK before- and was asked to help set up a new supply process (see case study “Switzerland”). To be able to do so, I started my own consultancy company and worked freelance. Hence the birth of IPREM Consulting.

Soon after the Lausanna project was finished our second child was born and my family moved to Buenos Aires and from there to Singapore, where our third child was born. In Singapore, it turned out that the inventory policy calculation tool that I had developed for BAT in Europe was being rolled out as a global tool. I relaunched IPREM Consulting, and have since trained the BAT Singapore team on the principles of inventory management and the use of the tool (2-day workshops, see case study “Singapore”. I have also successfully followed the Six Sigma Green Belt training, and have come to realise that inventory management is now a key topic for many organisations. Therefore I want to extend my subject knowledge beyond the boundaries of my old employer and help other companies in getting to grips with this complex matter.
